Shortlands Studio was created from two decades of shooting people, places and brands and a belief that photography should feel relaxed, personal and beautifully intentional.

Rather than a traditional studio, Shortlands Studio is a modern, on-location experience shaped around you. The aim is simple: to create images that feel elegant but honest; refined and real. Whether I’m capturing a family at home, a couple outdoors, a creative business in their workspace or a brand hosting an event, the approach is always the same, thoughtful planning, gentle direction and an eye for natural, storytelling moments.

You won’t find stiff poses or forced smiles here. Instead, you’ll get a calm, well-guided experience that lets you be yourself, with just enough structure to feel confident in front of the camera.
